Food – Our Love Hate Relationship

 

1.     Make a list of the positive ways that you use food in your life and then make a list of the negative ways that you use food. See if you can eliminate any of the negative ways.

 

 

 

 

 

2.     Emotional eating is eating when you are not _________________.

 

3.     Make a list of activities that you can do when you are have the urge to eat when you aren’t hungry. Keep the list handy and try some of the activities and see if they work.  Remember, you don’t change behaviors overnight, so keep trying.

 

4.     Identify a patterned behavior and try writing out all the steps. Pinpoint steps where you can break the pattern.
